Chapter Philanthropy

Sigma Kappa Epsilon Delta attends an Alzheimer's Walk in Bloomsburg in September as a chapter event every fall. At the walk, we hear stories from friends and families affected by those with Alzheimers and celebrate the total amount of money raised by all the teams.

Fall semester our Philanthropy event is a Fall Festival, which includes: pumpkin painting, face painting, food, cotton candy, apple cider, games, and music. Everyone around campus is invited to this event to hang out and connect with each other. This event is held with Phi Mu Delta Fraternity and all money raised is split between the Alzheimer's Association and St. Jude's, the philanthropy of Phi Mu Delta.

In the spring, our Philanthropy event is Sigma Stacks, in which we make pancakes and other breakfast foods for people around campus in order to raise money. The sisters from the Penn State chapter of Sigma Kappa come to support us for this event as well. The money raised will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
